Peanut butter and jelly french toast

a perfect breakfast for kids on weekends....... iam sure they will empty the plate...this recipie is inspired from cookery show it is the easy and can be made in jiffy....topping with cream is little bit heavy for the mornings so it is optional.... so here goes the recipie.


  1. straberry jam - 2 tbsp
  2. whole wheat bread - 4
  3. peanut butter - 2 tbsp
  4. egg - 1 whole egg 
  5. butter - 1 tsp
  6. vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp

for garnishing

  1. maple syrup - 3 tsp
  2. whipped cream - 1/4 cup
  3. straberry - sliced


  1. first take two bread slice , apply peanut butter on one bread slice and strawberry jam on another bread slice and now make the sandwich of both slices and keep it aside(do the same with the remaining bread slice).
  2. now take an egg add milk to it, then add vanilla essence and give a whisk
  3. heat a pan add butter. now dip the sandwich to the egg mixture and palce it on the pan and toast it both the sides till it turns golden brown
  4. remove from heat allow it to cool garnish with maple syrup and top it with cream and sliced straberries....

Home made chocolate syrup

my kids love chocolates and any dish which has chocolate in i use choclate syrup in most of the desert just to attract them...  surfing the net i came across an article to how to make chocoloate syrup at home so could'nt resist to try and share with u all... it contains very few ingredients and the yummy syrup is ready to enjoy anytime...


  • sugar 2 cups
  • hershey's cocoa powder - 1 1/2 cup
  • water - - 1 cup
  • salt - a pinch
  • vanilla essence - 1 tsp


  1. mix together cocoa and water in a pan. heat and stir until the cocoa  completely dissolves in water
  2. now add sugar and boil for 3 -4 mins
  3. remove from heat add salt and vanilla and cool
  4. when completly cooled store them in bottles and enjoy
  5. the syrup can be stored for months in fridge
  6. enjoy the syrup in icecreams or you can use to make chocolate milk shake too.....

Dates and carrot barfi

barfi are usually kids farourite and my kids love eating sweets... so here is another sweet dish with a twist hope you will enjoy cooking this......


  1.  carrot-1 big
  2. eggs-5
  3.  milkmaid-1/4 cup.
  4. milk-1/4cup
  5. dates-6
  6. cashew nuts-1/4cup


  1. In a microwave-proof dish put the carrot pcs. and  pour boiling water;cover and microwave for 3 mnts.(or u can cook the carrot on the stove)
  2. In a mixie jar blend all the ingredients (eggs, milk maid , milk, dates, cashew nuts) together along wth the cooked carrot pcs.
  3. pour this in a greased nonstick pan and  cook covered on a low flame .
  4. So here s the recipe......enjoy cooking!!!!!:)

Creamy pineapples with cookies

This is very simple dish it requires only few ingredients no baking and no cooking is required.. as i was browsing the net for some thing sweet and innovative i came across this beautiful recipie  couldnt wait to share with you all.... now lets check the ingredients you need to make


  • pineapples.....1 tin
  • sugar............1 tablespoon
  • Biscuits.......1 half roll pack
  • cream.........1 pack
  • Nestle Condensed tin ......half tin


  • mint leaves
  • few diced pineapples
  • wafer sticks


  1. i used tin pineapples you can you fresh pineapples also.
  2. open the tin and take out the pineapples from the syrup,put the pineapples in the serving bowl or dish
  3. now take (1pack) cream, in another bowl add 1 tablespoon of sugar and beat it well with the beater for 2 minutes after that add half tin of condensed milk and mix it well and pour this cream on the pineapples and put the bowl in the freezer
  4. .now take the pack of biscuits(you can use any biscuits, here i used marie biscuit)  and crushed them well,sprinkle this crushed biscuits on the cream,
  5. garnish it with pineapples,wafer sticks and with mint leaves....and enjoy
