CRISPY FRENCH FRIES ( restarant style)


  • potatoes 4
  • oil for deep frying
  • salt for taste


  • Boil sufficient amt of water in a deep pan 
  • peel the potatoes, and cut into slices'add a little salt to the boiling water along with the potatoes
  • cover and cook till the potatoes are 3/4 done
  • strain the potatoes and pat dry on a towel or tissue and transfer the potates to the zip lock bag and freeze it for 3-4 hours
  • Heat oil in a kadai, deep fry  the fries to golden
  • transfer to the absorbent paper
  • serve hot with tomato ketchup
